The 2017 Cadillac CT6 3.0 TT Platinum, the top trim level of the automaker's top-of-the-line touring sedan, represents a combination of power, performance, and perks, according to a new review by auto writer Charles Fleming for the Los Angeles Times. The Platinum CT6 is a much a car to be driven in, as it is to drive.
While the "entry-level" version (is "entry-level" even appropriate here?) is powered by a 2.0-liter twin turbo or a 3.6-liter V6, Fleming strongly recommends going all-in and opting for the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 which cranks out 404 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. That gets this big land cruiser from 0-60 mph in right around 5.0 seconds. Fleming says the CT6 drives smaller than it looks and weighs, which is a fair amount less than a comparable Mercedes-Benz S-class.
