For a vehicle to make a name for itself in a class a crowded as the midsize sedan is certainly no small task. And yet, the 2016 Subaru Legacy somehow makes it seem like child's play.
And how exactly does it do so? The answer, conveniently enough, can be found in the clip below. Tag along with Kelley Blue Book personality Micah Muzio, as he takes the Legacy out for a test run:
Though it'd be wrong to term the Legacy's base engine -- an 175-horsepower four-banger -- "sluggish," it admittedly pales in comparison to its bigger, beefier brother, the optional 3.6-liter six-cylinder.
Producing a plenteous 256 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque, this six-cylinder is a stunner. And considering that rather substantial increase in output, its EPA-estimated 23 mpg combined (20 city/29 highway) fuel economy rating is nothing short of spectacular.
If you'd like to meet this marvelous midsizer "in the metal," or wish to put one through its paces on the open road, we encourage you to pay us a visit at our Fort Collins, CO location. Upon your stopover, we'll be sure to set you up with a test drive in the Legacy, or any other Subaru model that's caught your eye.
