Chevrolet Preparing for 2017 Equinox

This year saw a massive overhaul to Chevrolet's lineup of sedans, among them the Malibu, Spark, Volt, and Cruze. In the next few years, the brand's SUVs and crossovers will get more attention than ever before. Recently, spy photographers caught a glimpse of one of these models: the 2017 Equinox.

The new Equinox fits into the bow tie's recent plans to add a new crossover to the lineup between it and the Traverse. As a result, the Equinox is a bit smaller than the model it replaces, although it's hard to tell under all that cladding. From what we can glean, there's a more tapered roof look, and the grille is quite a big larger than the outgoing model.
