This half-ton 4x4 delivers an EPA-estimated 29 mpg highway/23 city. Combining the legendary diesel reliability with an SAE-certified 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, the Silverado 3.0L is also capable of towing up to 9,300 pounds and a max payload of 1,870 pounds.

This is the first diesel offered in light-duty trucks since 1997, and the brand’s first-ever inline-six for full-size, light duty trucks.

The new SS front-end appearance is based on the distinctive design of the Camaro Shock show vehicle that debuted last fall at the SEMA Show. The SS now features a repositioned bowtie emblem in the upper grille and a body-color bar between the upper and lower grilles.
