AUTOMOTIVE ASSISTANT SERVICE MANAGER

This year, Dellenbach Motors is celebrating our 53rd Anniversary of serving Northern Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region, providing our clientele the product lines from Chevrolet, Cadillac and Subaru.

Dellenbach Motors, a family run dealership, is currently seeking a Qualified and Experienced Service Manager with excellent customer centric values; focused on going above and beyond for our customers and staff.

The Assistant Service Manager will be responsible for running an efficient and profitable service department, that effectively builds value, trust and loyalty with our growing clientele. We are seeking an individual who builds great employee relations, goal oriented, efficient, excels at maintaining service records and produces timely department related requests.

Our preferred candidate will have an outstanding work ethic, willfully works in a collaborative environment, maintains a professional appearance, possesses a positive disposition, and seeks to always make each experience a great experience.

Assistant Service Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities: .

(Other duties may be assigned)

  • Understand and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, etc.
  • Maintain reporting systems required by the factory: Maintaining an accurate filing system
  • Have working knowledge of all dealership departments and works in a collaborative manner
  • Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction
  • Service order and warranty oversight
  • Communicate openly and efficiently regarding CTA Loaner program
  • Updating knowledge on new products, features, accessories, etc.
  • Establish and set monthly objectives
  • Control the performance of the department
  • Keep up to date on training standards set by the manufacturer.
  • Prepare for Managers' meetings
  • Conduct meetings with department employees to discuss activities and problems of mutual interest
  • Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them
  • Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all service department staff
  • Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the service department
  • Assists in Diagnosing Vehicle Issues
  • Schedule Oversight and Training of staff
  • Maintains and Strives to Exceed Customer Satisfaction scores above company standards
  • Provide technical assistance to customers and employees as needed
  • Serve as liaison with factory representatives
  • Handle all customer complaints related to service
  • Ensure that all customer services files are up to date and are readily available for reference.
  • Realize that business is built on customer satisfaction and be devoted to guaranteeing great customer experiences.
  • Will need to work some Saturdays

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in Automotive Service Management experience.
  • Preferred In-depth knowledge with General Motors and / or Subaru Service Management
  • ASE Certification (C1) - preferred but not required
  • A sharp focus on People, Process and Service
  • High Volume service experience a plus
  • Proven track record in CSI and professional work ethic is necessary
  • Strong record of positive Customer Satisfaction results
  • Team-oriented
  • Exceptional and Positive Leadership Abilities and Motivational Skills.
  • Exceptional Value Added Sales Skills
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office, ERA / Ignite, Reynolds & Reynolds and Automotive CRM software
  • Highly Proficient Interpersonal and Written Communication Skills.
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License
  • Clean MVR

AUTOMOTIVE LUBE TECHNICIAN

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience Beneficial, but Not Necessary
  • Ability to Check and Change Vehicle Fluids, Rotate Tires and Lubricate Chassis
  • Ability to Perform Multi-point Safety Check
  • Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking, standing, kneeling, stooping, bending and lifting up to 90 pounds
  • Safety Conscience: Will be working with a Variety of Fluids, Chemicals, Petroleum Products and Ability to Operate Power and Hand Tools, and other Types of Machinery
  • Ability to Drive Manual Transmission Vehicles

DELLENBACH MOTORS - EXPERIENCED SUBARU SERVICE TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC

Due to a very high and expanding volume of maintaining Subarus we are seeking a EXPERIENCED SUBARU TECHNICIAN.

This year, Dellenbach Motors is celebrating our 53rd Anniversary of serving Northern Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region, providing our clientele the product lines from Chevrolet, Cadillac and Subaru.

We are one of Northern Colorado's top franchised dealerships in sales and service.

We are seeking to add a Full-Time Subaru Service Technician to our service team of experienced and highly trained professionals.

Position Requirements:

  • 2 Years Experience as a Subaru Service Technician
  • Extensive Subaru Mechanical Knowledge
  • Valid and Unencumbered Driver's License
  • Perform work as outlined in repair order with efficiency, accuracy and in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Communicate with the parts department regarding obtaining needed parts.
  • Save and warranted tag parts.
  • Advise shop foreman / service writer immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the time period promised.
  • Document All Work.
  • Ability to Work in Adverse Conditions and Extreme Weather
  • Road test vehicles - required to quality check work performed.
  • Safety First Mentality
  • Ability to Work in Strenuous Environment with long or repetitive periods of leaning, stooping, standing, bending and balancing.
  • Keep abreast of factory training and technical bulletins.
  • Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean.
  • Attention to shop area - keep shop organized and clean and be able to account for all dealership owned tools, at all times.
  • Familiarity with, and follow federal, state and local regulations governing disposal of hazardous and recyclable materials.
  • Perform additional or different tasks at management discretion
  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Experience and Abilities:

  • ASE Certification - Multi-Certified Preferred, or ability to obtain certifications
  • Master Mechanic
  • Excels in Troubleshooting Mechanical Issues
  • Certification, Experience and Competency working with Subarus
  • Detail and Process Oriented
  • Ability to work flexible hours and some Saturdays
  • Possesses, or Ability to Obtain Tools necessary for work, and Roll-away Toolbox
