When the job is on the line, having the right tools can make all the difference—and that's especially true when it comes to your truck. While full-size light-duty pickups are suitable for most truck tasks, extra large jobs require something bigger, and the Silverado 2500HD delivers. Fort Collins-area business owners and laymen alike have been turning to the impressive power and dependability of Silverado trucks for years. And now, the 2020 model year kicks off the Silverado 2500HD's fourth generation with greater performance and more advanced features than ever before.

Last year's 6.0-liter gasoline V-8 was replaced with a new 6.6-liter V-8 that produces an impressive 401 horsepower and a best-in-class 464 pound-feet of torque. And, unlike the competition, you don't have to add a lot of options to access its maximum gasoline tow rating of 17,400 pounds.

Loveland and Greeley drivers who need even more prodigious power and performance, will appreciate the return of the 6.6-liter V-8 Duramax Turbo Diesel. Producing 445 horsepower and a monstrous 910 pound-feet of torque, this behemoth comes paired with an advanced Allison 10-speed automatic transmission. With smaller rpm steps between shifts, the new transmission is much more effective than the outgoing six-speed transmission. The Duramax engine boasts a max tow rating of 18,600 pounds.

But, the powertrain isn't the only thing that's been improved. The Silverado 2500HD's frame is also longer, increasing rear legroom by 2.5 inches, and lengthening the truck bed by nearly 3.5 inches. Wider than the competition, and equipped with 12 standard tie-downs, it's one of the most versatile beds in the segment.

There's also tons of new available tech, like the Advanced Trailering System with up to 15 unique camera views, including the innovative Transparent Trailer perspective. For more information about the latest Silverado 2500HD features, Dellenbach Motors invites you to visit us in person to experience them for yourself. We'd love to set you up with a test drive.
