Suzuki Partakes in Queen's Diamond Jubilee

It seems the United Kingdom is getting to be rather popular here on the Dellenbach Motors blog. After we told you last month about an agreement Chevy made with famed soccer club Manchester United, it appears that Suzuki has gotten in on the fun across the pond as well. The Japanese automaker saw 55 of their boats take part in the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, as the grouping was part of the 1,000 sea faring vehicles that were in the precession on the River Thames to celebrate the occasion.
While we certainly wish we could have seen the royal family gallivanting around London in a new Suzuki, we'll say that it's a pretty neat achievement for the automaker, and it also gave some kids a fun and exciting opportunity to experience the Jubilee. Teaming up with the Sea Cadets, a non-profit group that educations children across the U.K. on marine life, Suzuki had many of these kids on board for the trip, as they navigated the River Thames in a diamond formation with the royal barge front and center.
While the boating side of Suzuki is good enough to partake in royal events, we believe that many of the new Suzuki vehicles drivers in the greater Fort Collins area can find, like the 2012 Suzuki Kizashi have great qualities as well. With a sporty build, versatile interior and 25 miles per gallon in the city to give you plenty of fuel economy in the Kizashi is a compact car to consider.
