One of the most exciting Suzuki models you'll find is the Suzuki Swift, a European exclusive that has enjoyed incredible sales numbers and a dedicated following. Considering this, it should come as no surprise to hear that the Japanese automaker has updated the Swift and showed it off at one of the premier auto events in the world, the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The 2012 Swift features a similar design to its amped up Swift Sport variant. Specific additions to the Swift include finned fog lamp bezels, high-intensity discharge headlamps, 17-inch lightweight wheels and a bigger grille. Meanwhile, inside the Swift will feature newly created sports seats, which are wrapped in an exclusive fabric to the model. It sounds as if the Swift is getting the luxury treatment!
Of course, over here models like the Suzuki SX4 and Suzuki Kizashi are king, garnering widespread praise throughout the automotive world. You can take either model for a test drive simply by either dialing (866) 693-5689 or by submitting a contact form to us online.
As for the Swift... Suzuki knows that performance matters, which is why Totally Motor states, "The engine pumps out 134bhp (compared to 123 horses on the last model) and 118lb-ft of torque (compared to 109lb-ft on the previous one). This boosted power is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, an extra gear up from the five-speed box on the last model."1
