Cadillac Throws its Weight into the Compact Segment

Alright, there actually might not be much weight required to be thrown to enter into the compact segment, but still, the metaphor works, we swear it... But, that's not the point. The point is that those who want to travel in luxury without hauling around a massive SUV might soon be able to with the introduction of the all new Cadillac ATS, and that is something that everyone here at Dellenbach Motors is quite excited for.

Reports are currently claiming that the, "ATS will be built alongside the CTS in Lansing, MI, on a new rear-drive vehicle architecture that will give the car authentic sport sedan styling, crisp moves, and brisk acceleration. Styling, as previewed on the included sketch, will continue current Cadillac themes with flared-back stacked headlamps, bold eggcrate grille, strong side creases, and finlike taillamps."1

Much like the Cadillac CTS, the Cadillac ATS will be powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Of course, those who are hoping for a little more power under the hood can always opt for the available torque and horsepower upgrades. Or, you can also see if this style of Cadillac is right for you by taking the current Cadillac CTS for a test drive today at 3111 S. College Ave. Fort Collins, Co 80525. Test drives can be arranged by contacting us online or by phone at (866) 693-5689.

This marks one of the American automaker's first entries into the compact segment in decades. Rest assured, however, that the Cadillac ATS will still be a Cadillac to the core. After all, it represents the logical next step for the luxury market to take, considering the increasing eco-consciousness that car-buyers are feeling today.

Of course, if there is already a new Cadillac model that has caught your eye, then feel free to browse our online inventory and showroom pages today. Once there, you'll have access to a wide range of info regarding specific models, such as the Cadillac STS and Cadillac CTV-V, as well as our incredible lineup of used cars from top automakers like Chevrolet, Cadillac, Suzuki, and Subaru.
