2013 Cadillac XTS Debuts in Los Angeles

Cadillac is giving the full-size luxury segment a breath of fresh air with the introduction of the all-new Cadillac XTS next year. The vehicle has been talked about for months, with rumors regarding its specs, features, and pricing floating around the web. Now, with a strong debut at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show under its belt, the Cadillac XTS is ready to take the automotive world by storm.

Of course, there's still the pressing matter of when exactly it will do so. No official date has been given, but many have hinted at a late 2012 launch date, making the new XTS a 2013 model. While this might seem like quite a while to wait, we here at Dellenbach Motors honestly don't think it's that bad. After all, if the XTS is even half as good as the current Cadillac CTS, then we know that we can expect quite a bit. And, for the record, as it's a Cadillac, it'll likely be at least as good as any current model.

The all-new Cadillac model is expected to feature both front wheel and all wheel drive (FWD/AWD) options, a larger front-end grille with aggressive styling, and a powerful V6 engine under the hood. What everyone here is curious to know, however, is whether or not there'll be a hybrid option. This could be a big move for Cadillac, especially as the full-size luxury market doesn't have a ton of hybrid models just yet.

And, we would honestly expect nothing less than a big move from Cadillac, especially when you consider the fact that the Cadillac XTS and ATS are the first all-new vehicle releases that the company has announced since the Cadillac SRX launched in late 2008.
